the_samosaurus	2:38a	Just take me straight to Virginia, back to the faces of HOME! Zomg, Greg and I are going to be at the airport in like, two hours. I'M COMING HOME. This past weekend was balls to the wall. Shenanigans at the Goodwin house Friday and then Ullrfest in Cloudcroft Saturday, which involves burning skiis, snowball fights, ice skating and hot cider. Then today (er...yesterday?) we finally finished the cast list for the vajayjays and I hustled out to the ABQ, where Sam+Greg+Bill+whiskey+drunk dialing happens allllll night long. I need to picspam you all to show the epic that was Ullrfest. Maybe in the Denver airport in a few hours. Stay tuned!!!!! Omgomgomg VIRGINIA. Soon. Family and east coast friends and WTF snow?!?!? wishfuldragon	9:45a	SNOW. And then some. So it started snowing at 4 pm yesterday as I was walking out of work. It hasn't stopped since. We were getting almost 2 inches an hour til about 11pm. Right now we are at over 17 inches outside. And I feel like it would be more but the stuff on the bottom is getting compressed. So much snow. What do you even do with this amount of snow? Especially when you were gonna go to the food store today or tommorow. This could be quite interesting. What kinda snow counts is everybody else at? And where are you? (7 Comments |Comment on this)

the_samosaurus	7:22p	I'm still in the office. WHY GOD WHY?! 10 hours in the feild and going on 3 in the office today. Abuzuh wut? HILARIOUS. I'm also full of chocolate and energy drinks and we have so many project reports due and it feels like exam week but really it's the real world and GAH! I'd really like to go drink tasty beverages with my goodwin peoplez right now PLZTHXBYE. As soon as I'm done making these copies... While the printer spazzes and the computer remembers what it's job is, I'll busy myself wiiiiith...A MEME! This past week brought me back to the lol kolledge days, because the lack of sleeping was reCOCKulous. I AM SO TIRED. And it is my own damn fault. Oh man, I needed today off of work like whoa. It was amazing. But then again the lack of sleep was worth it this week. I banked an extra 20 hours of off time for the holidays AND managed to have many an evening of running amok as well. The good times included... ( MRP kid reunions! weekend events despite work! vagina monologues are off to a great start! ) After finishing up with tonight's round of auditions, Charles and I, along with my fellow assistant director and her boy, all grabbed noms and watched this movie called Ink, which came out just last month but wasn't released in theaters. Which was stupid, because it should have been. It's indy, and I highly highly recommend it. It has a definite Pan's Labyrinth meets Neverwhere feel to it. Also, bongo-drum teleportation! dreamscape battles! whimsical costumes! The Pathfinder=teh squee-worthy! Don't want to spoil in case any of you want to check it out, but hands down the best scene is when the Pathfinder gives his "something's gotta stop the flow" speech, and does his magical beat-of-the-world conducting scene. Aside from the fangirly gibberish, I also give this movie a surrius tip of the hat for it's unique way of playing with lighting and camera angles. Also the soundtrack and effects were surprisingly good for such a low budget film. So go check it out! I know I usually have wretched taste in movies, but this isn't a snakes-on-a-plane-good or a cloverfield-good. This is an ACTUAL good. Trailer here! Remember how I vowed to get back on SLEEPING AT NIGHT schedule? Yeah. Should go do that now. XD ETA: Still in awe of being able to flush my toilet, turn on the heat, and not pack the day's clothes in moth and rat proof storage bags. Just sayin'.
